We onderzochten financiële links tussen vijf bankgroepen (AXA, Dexia, Fortis, ING en KBC) en producenten van controversiële wapensystemen. Meerbepaald landmijnen, clusterbommen, kernwapens en wapens met verarmd uranium. Het zijn stuk voor stuk wapens met een verwoestende kracht die ontelbare burgerslachtoffers eisen. Elke onderzochte bank is betrokken bij al deze wapens. |

AlterVision Balance Europe |

AlterVision Balance Europe invests according to sustainability criteria. The fund is aimed at investors that do not want to take a high risk. AlterVision Balance Europe scores better than comparable funds regarding both financial performance and sustainability (April 2008). 60% of the cost of joining the fund goes to Netwerk Vlaanderen or our French speaking sister organization Réseau Financement Alternatif. A portion of this money is transferred by Netwerk and Réseau to microcredit organization Alterfin. It is not necessary to pay for leaving this fund. The fund is provided by Fortis. They conduct the screening in-house. AlterVision is also subject to an extra screening. AlterVision is in the first case intended for individuals, but institutional customers can also register via Fortis pc banking, phone banking or in a branch of Fortis bank in Belgium. The price of a share is determined by the market price. |
