This research report shows that more than 40 financial institutions are currently investing in producers of uranium weapons. Three US stock market listed companies: Alliant Techsystems, GenCorp and General Dynamics, are supported by financiers from Canada, the US, Japan, Great Britain, France, Germany, Taiwan, Singapore and Italy.

Exposure to Depleted Uranium can result in cancer and immune and nervous system damage. It also has the potential to trigger birth malformations. Netwerk Vlaanderen and ICBUW hope that financial institutions will take the positive step of removing these investments from their portfolio and avoid investing in these companies in the future.
